Dr. Kim, whose EFIL plastic center is Daegu leading medical tour institution, treats foreign patients coming from overseas every year and has received attention from the public because he has done active medical exchange activities with foreign medical teams. 

Some foreign patients coming from Japan, China, Philippines, etc have visited EFIL plastic center for correcting protruded eyes, double-jaw surgery, facial contouring surgery, rhinoplasty, etc and during their staying in Daegu, patients do a lot of consumption activities which lead to great help to vitalize medical tourism in Korea.

The 1^st international autologous rhinoplasty workshop PINOKIO 2018 held by Dr. Kim, EFIL plastic center, for itself, made doctors not only from Korea but also from 10 countries such as the us, Taiwan, Bulgaria, etc, visit EFIL plastic center to watch and learn Dr. Peter’s live-surgery and cases for ultra fine cartilage rhinoplasty, sharing medical technology with visitors. 

From recommendation of the participant for this PINOKIO workshop, his acquaintance, a dermatologist, which is skin doctor, came over to EFIL plastic center to have rhinoplasty and perinasal augmentation, which was very supportive for Medicity Daegu reputation. 

Besides, so far, the opportunity for foreign doctors to see Dr. Peter’s surgery and training has been given.

Some doctors would stay for a day and some stay for a year in Daegu for watching Dr. Peter’s surgery.

This has been very helpful for spreading medical techniques. 

Dr. Kim said, “I will continue to focus more on attracting foreign patients and I will also have regular medical exchanges with overseas doctors to promote Korean medical tourism.”
